Its wayyyy too inconsistent with the lag. I tried playing this and it just was too laggy. Im in a macbook pro, so I shouldn't have any trouble with the lag. Smh
This is an adorable concept! Sadly, I didn't finish it since using a keyboard instead of controller for anything with this kind of platforming isn't my thing, but I appreciate what you did with the little story additions and environment. Nice job!
Thanks for playing! Yeah movement is still kinda wonky. I'm still refining my FPS controller in Unity so in the future, my FPS games would feel much better. Anyway, thanks again for playing!
weirdly i think my favorite parts are the big open areas without platforming, i just like the art style and ambiance, especially the little park at the end. would love to see something with more focus on those kinds of spaces- they look super good in this palette
This game is so fun that I decided to (very poorly) speedrun it! I also submitted the game to a website called speedrun.com, a site that displays video game speedrunning leaderboards. I'll let you know if the game gets accepted or not. Keep up the good work! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtYS5pyBa9s
(edit: we made a discord server for speedrunning the game if anyone wants to join https://discord.gg/hZCEHBd)
(edit 2: the game was rejected and we deleted the discord)
Thanks for playing! I'm glad that my game took an interest to a number of speedrunners :P but I didn't design and plan this game to actually be meant for speedrunning. However, I'm still quite thrilled to learn that there are speedrunners who like to speedrun my game! It's fine if they rejected my game. Perhaps in the future, I'll make a parkour game that's designed for speedrunning. Thanks again!
Thanks so much for playing! Yeah, the movement was kinda wonky but I've updated it now. Thank you again for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it and played through all possible endings :P I'm very happy you played :D
This game was amazing! It was so cute and aesthetically pleasing, the ending was so wholesome as well. I really enjoyed playing this game, the music was nice and calming to listen to while playing.
Thanks for playing! I really focused on making the game look good and to have a nice little ending for it :P Thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate it!
luv it! first time i've played a game thats not scary in a while and i'm getting SOOOOOOOOOO much earthbound vibes frum dis music (unless its just me x3) 10/10
Thanks for playing! I'm sorry to hear that it was hard! I'll be updating it to make it easier for most people after the jam ratings end. Thank you anyway for playing!
Thank you very much! It might be a bit on the hard side for some people which was intentionally designed that way, but I think that was a mistake :P I'm glad I made you happy tho! Thanks for playing!
Thanks for playing! I'm sorry to hear that! I realized the movement is not really for everyone so I'll be updating it after the jam ends. Thanks anyway for making a video! I appreciate it!
Thanks! Sorry that it's too hard! I do agree that it's a bit hard for the general audience so I'll be updating it after the jam's ratings are over. Thanks for playing!
Thank you! It was just a small game for a game jam so I will perhaps in the future make more games that will be even "rarer" :P Anyway, thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate it!
This game is very cool. Something that I would change is the music, colors, and sensitivity. My mouse moved so much, and it was hard to aim. Otherwise, very great job!
Thanks for playing my game! I'll take note of your feedback! One thing though is that, for a smoother experience with the mouse, the native builds of the game would be much better, though it was still my fault for not including a sensitivity slider or something like that. Couldn't finish the game with it. Sorry!
Thanks for playing! The issue with the mouse only happens in the web build of the game. I should have noted that in the description. Oops! Anyway thank you so much for playing my game! It means a lot to me!
What a fantastic game. I love the aesthetic and music. Also that ending was so wholesome, it made me.... feel things :O
The platforming is alittle floaty and slippery, but once I got a handle on the physics, everything else was smooth sailing. Overall, a great game and would totally recommend to others, purely for that ending.
Thank you! I'll certainly be making more games in the future that will (probably) be better than this one :P I hope to make games that are either really fun or would leave a mark on people, or both! If you want, you could follow me for more upcoming games! I'm still starting out on my game dev journey so who knows what I'm yet to make :P
The difficulty of first person platformers is that there is no body with wich you can judge a jump. I found the controls to finicky to enjoy the platforming. I did like the art style, the music was quite loud and had to turn my volume down to single didgets.
A small bug, due to the size of the window it is not possible to completly turn the camera.
Thanks for playing! I was going to add a shadow underneath the player to help with the platforming while making this game but I ran out of time since I submitted this for a game jam, so I'm sorry for that! I think I know what's up with the controls so I'll tweak it after the game jam. The small bug with the mouse cursor though only occurs in the web version. I've tried working around it by unlocking and locking the cursor whenever you click on the screen but it didn't fix the problem entirely, though it did help somewhat. If you can, you could download the Windows or Linux versions! Anyway, thanks for playing!
I like it. I think your art style was very nice especially. Everything was very simple but it all felt very coherent and beautiful. I'd say it even encouraged me to take my time despite the ever increasing timer.
Critiquewise, the platforming was a tad frustrating for the first two sections, but I can tell it was mostly just adjusting myself to the sliding, and honestly I think it added to the experience for me rather than taking from it, setting a mood for the upcoming choices. I only bring it up because I can see it being a barrier of entry to some of the more casual players that I'd enjoy showing this too.
The message at the end was very sweet, like a nice pat on the back. The only thing I would bring up is maybe setting it up to use different words rather than just making it a "possible plural" with the '(s)' for the different outcomes. Making it feel a little more personal. Trying to be ambiguous for anyone who hasn't played it yet.
(Also, I noticed the bug with the mouse at the very beginning, but it didn't seem impact the game elsewhere).
Thanks for playing! Yup, the game was designed to keep the player moving which might intimidate more casual players so that's a b it of an oopsie in my part. I totally agree with your points. I see what you mean with the ending. I would have had it a bit more personalized but I was running out of time and cutting corners wherever I can so I'm sorry about that but you do make a good point! Oh and that annoying mouse bug! I really can't figure out a good workaround for it for the web player, though I did manage to make it "less" buggy for the release. Anyway, thank you so much! I really appreciate meaningful critiques so thank you!
really nice game! looks extremely great and polished,
there seems to be a problem with full screen mouse capture, i have 2 monitors so that might be the problem, but my mouse wouldn't be inside the screen the whole time, and would drift outside, basically rendering my field of view limited and it was kind of annoying.
Thanks for playing! Yeah this annoying mouse bug only occurs in the exported WebGL platform of the game. Sorry to hear that ;_;. I tried workarounds like unlocking then locking the cursor when you click on the screen. It works but I guess not all the time :( Anyway, thanks for playing !
Wow, such a sweet game! Beautiful color palette, awesome music, great level design, and very sweet theme. Congratulations, it’s my favorite game from you so far!
I didn’t have any trouble with platforming, I think it’s just the right difficulty. But I see how sliding can make the game difficult for someone.
When in fullscreen, mouse movement is restricted to screen borders for some reason. I think it would be nice to export this game natively so it can be experienced in the best way possible. :-)
Anyway, fantastic job! I hope to see more titles like this from you in the future!
Thanks for playing TheoR! Thanks for all the compliments 😊 I worked pretty hard for all of those :P. I always like to try something new because there's always something new that I haven't tried :D. I've already toned down the slipperiness of the game before I released it but yeah I think it's still a bit too slippery. Oh well :P
The mouse bug thing is a bug that only seems to occur on the web platform of the game. It's kinda annoying because I already tried coding in hacky workarounds like unlocking and then locking the mouse cursor when you click on the screen. It helped but it didn't fix the problem entirely. :( I'll be exporting it natively to Windows and Linux after a couple of hours. It'll be epic 😎
Anyway, thank you so much for your support. You've always been a great friend though and through. I'll definitely be making more titles in the future. But for now.... Thanks again so much! :D
Thank you for your kind words! You just happen to make great games, I can’t help it. :-)
I tried the native Linux version, it works great! Except for one thing, the game crashes on the bad ending (when you help 0 people), after the “Goodbye” text. Which is funny, it almost seems like it’s intended. :-D
Manage to finish it <3 I love the ending! Very nice! It was really hard though haha very slippery but I like a challenge from time to time. I love the art style as well!
Thanks! And woah! I played your game a few days ago and I'm surprised to see you here! I absolutely loved your game! Concept was amazing and the music was damn good! Thanks for playing my game! I'll definitely improve on my next game :P
Thanks! I showed it to my friends and they also had a hard time over there. As the developer of this game and since I had to playtest it like 999 times, I thought it was easy OOF but yeah, I do think it's quite hard! I still have a lot to learn on designing levels! Thanks again for playing!

am on a mac air and i can
i love the graphics, and the background music is really good and the actual parkour mechanics are pretty fun as well, great job!
Wonderful game, not only the concept but also the visuals and overall mood. Well done!
This is an adorable concept! Sadly, I didn't finish it since using a keyboard instead of controller for anything with this kind of platforming isn't my thing, but I appreciate what you did with the little story additions and environment. Nice job!
my mouse wont lock?
You can download the executable! The mouse bug is only on the web version which I tried very hard to fix but just wont get fixed :(
hey this is really cute
the platforming is jank but like on-par jank for first person unity rigidbody platforming haha
Thanks for playing! Yeah movement is still kinda wonky. I'm still refining my FPS controller in Unity so in the future, my FPS games would feel much better. Anyway, thanks again for playing!

This is just sooo good, GG!
No, you're too good! :P

Love the concept! I see you've already changed the movement since I played, and that was really the only fault I found with it. Good job!
Thanks so much for playing! Yeah, the movement was kinda wonky but I've updated it now. Thank you again for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it and played through all possible endings :P I'm very happy you played :D
Really like the use of one color palette and sticking with it! one suggestion would be to reset the players head rotation when you respawn
Thanks for playing! Good suggestion! That slipped my mind :P
any idea's on improvements of platforming?
Thanks for playing! That's a good time! I got about 10 minutes on my first playthrough of my own game :P
Just now, I just updated the game to have coyote time and jump buffer. I also added a little shadow underneath the player.
Thanks again for playing!
I think Jump And Running Speed are little bit off, But other than this game is amazing!
Thanks for playing! I just updated the game for the movement to be more rigid. Thank you for the feedback!
Thank you for letting me play
And thank you for playing! :D
ha ha thx u too
Really magic
No you're magic :D
This game was amazing! It was so cute and aesthetically pleasing, the ending was so wholesome as well. I really enjoyed playing this game, the music was nice and calming to listen to while playing.
Thanks for playing! I really focused on making the game look good and to have a nice little ending for it :P Thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate it!
aaaa i cant play it in browser my mouse is not locked so i can only see 90c instead of 360c help
I'm sorry to hear that! You can download the Windows or Linux builds for a smoother experience!
alright ill try that thanks
luv it! first time i've played a game thats not scary in a while and i'm getting SOOOOOOOOOO much earthbound vibes frum dis music (unless its just me x3) 10/10
Thanks for playing! I actually haven't played Earthbound :P
I tried speedrunning it ^^ not really good
OMG HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
That's one sick speedrun. You already achieved a faster time than me XD. Pretty damn sick man! :P
Thank you so much for playing!
thx :3
noiwce! :3
this was hard for ME but its ur opinon
Thanks for playing! I'm sorry to hear that it was hard! I'll be updating it to make it easier for most people after the jam ratings end. Thank you anyway for playing!
This game was good, not too hard, not to easy, and it's made me happy! :)
Thank you very much! It might be a bit on the hard side for some people which was intentionally designed that way, but I think that was a mistake :P I'm glad I made you happy tho! Thanks for playing!
jesus almighty those were some crazy jumps i couldnt continue to try to beat the rest of the game...
Thanks for playing! I'm sorry to hear that! I realized the movement is not really for everyone so I'll be updating it after the jam ends. Thanks anyway for making a video! I appreciate it!
nice game! it's a little hard for me cos I'm not very good at first-person platformers! but I really like it just the same <3<3<3
Thanks! Sorry that it's too hard! I do agree that it's a bit hard for the general audience so I'll be updating it after the jam's ratings are over. Thanks for playing!
thank you for making this game. This type of game is a rare breed that makes us all happy.
Thank you! It was just a small game for a game jam so I will perhaps in the future make more games that will be even "rarer" :P Anyway, thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate it!
Jeu merdique, injouable
You can play the native builds for a smoother experience!

It's okay! I would have done much worse... Great game!
Thanks for playing! The issue with the mouse only happens in the web build of the game. I should have noted that in the description. Oops! Anyway thank you so much for playing my game! It means a lot to me!

Amazing game dev managed to get all endings :D , i hope you enjoy my gameplay
Woah! That's amazing! :D Thanks for playing my game x3 XD
Thank you :D
Whaooooooo best game just laggy controls
Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback! I'll tweak the controls when the jam ends. :D

This is really good, can i please get the download, that would be great
Yes! Coming right up for you, good sir! In a few minutes please! I just finished some other tasks!
Okay! Windows build is up! I'm still trying to figure out how to build for Linux on Unity... Hopefully you're on Windows :P
It certainly is EPIC :D
Loved the aesthetic of the game! The beginning was pretty hard, but possible. Also really liked the lovely ending it has.
Thanks! A lovely ending to a lovely game :D
